Postal Service Thefts Are A Way Of Life In Temecula

Theft involving mail in Temecula, CA is a normal event.

In an article by the talented Alvin Claverie, the NC Times reveals that Vintage Hills residents were hit by mail thefts in December 2010.

Here is an excerpt:

The Vintage Hills neighborhood of Temecula, a housing tract just west of Wine Country, has been targeted by mail thieves in recent weeks, according to residents.

In one case, someone allegedly swiped an outgoing envelope with a check inside from a mailbox. Residents said in a different case, someone in a small pickup drove through the neighborhood after mail had been delivered while an accomplice on foot rifled through mailboxes.

In another case, thieves broke into the Temecula Post Office and stole mail, which they then used to create an identity theft operation.

These are the names of the US Postal Service station managers at the Temecula post offices. The leader at the 92592 post office is Walter Nastande (a tall black guy). The leader at the downtown 92591 is named George Glennon. Have they been investigated? Someone needs to start looking into the mail theft problems in Temecula.

My order from the Gap.com was stolen

In December of 2011, I ordered items from the Gap.com. (Where is the order receipt? Someone hacked my Gmail account and deleted it.)

But, I do have the order number - P914300B900XSL592)

This is the tracking number - 9102931502437008645498.

I never received the order. This is what the tracking information revealed.

My Banana Republic card was still charged for this item. The fraud squad is getting involved.

An order I made from Piperlime.com was also tampered with. I only bought a few things. Somehow, $891.00 was charged to my account!! There were two order numbers generated: P914300BA00XSN6ZY (tracking number 508459316760) and  P914300BA00XSN6ZYL9ZF (tracking number 51427608743).
I only received a box with clothes! The clothes were not even that nice. The purse was crap.
